Blue Light
There are a few different colors of LED lights that flash on Blink cameras. One of them is the blue light.
This light is meant to signal that your camera is actively recording a clip. If you’d prefer it to be hidden from view, you can turn off the blue LED.
However, you’ll want to make sure that your camera is fully set up and connected to Wi-Fi before trying to disable the blue light.
You can check this by opening the Blink app on your smartphone and navigating to the camera settings menu. Choose the Status LED section and toggle it to Off.
If you still have trouble getting the light to stop blinking, you may need to restart the camera. This will reset the Sync Module, which is responsible for synchronizing data between your devices and the camera.
White Light
If you see a white light on your blink camera, this means that the camera is either connected to the internet or is downloading a software update. These lights are important for letting you know what’s happening with your device and helping to keep you informed of potential issues.
